  • Awards & Recommendations

    2015: The Bookseller Industry Awards, Book of the Year Award for design of The Wake by Paul Kingsnorth, illustration by Alan Rogerson, published by Unbound. Read the Bookseller article HERE

    2015: Awarded, CommArts Illustration Annual (USA) for Art Direction of The No.9 Bus to Utopia by David Bramwell, design by Matt Chase, published by Unbound.

    2013: Nominated In-Book for D&AD Branding Expression in Print, as part of a team of illustrators on the Penguin English Library project Art Directed and Designed by Coralie Bickford Smith of Penguin Books.

    2012: Judge on the D&AD Book Design jury, acting Jury Foreman for Black Pencil judging. Watch the video HERE

    2011: Nominated In-Book for D&AD Book Design Category for Art Direction of Philip Pullman’s novel, The Good Man Jesus and the Scoundrel Christ.

    2010: Nominated In-Book for D&AD Book Design Category for Art Direction of Nick Cave’s novel, The Death of Bunny Munro.
